Willow Class is a welcoming, supportive and busy learning environment where children build on their early foundations and develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to become increasingly independent learners.

At Bosley St Mary's, we know that every child learns and develops at their own pace. Our mixed-age approach allows children to learn together, support one another and celebrate their achievements as part of our school family.

Learning in Willow

In Willow Class, we focus on securing strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics, alongside a broad and exciting curriculum that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.

Children are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, solve problems and develop their understanding of the world around them.

Through practical activities, creative experiences, discussion and carefully planned learning opportunities, we help children make connections, develop their skills and take pride in their achievements.

Growing and Flourishing

Willow is a place where children learn to believe in themselves, develop resilience and become increasingly responsible for their learning.

We encourage children to be kind, respectful and supportive, building positive friendships and learning how to work successfully with others.

Every child is valued as an individual, and we celebrate their effort, progress and personal achievements.

In Willow Class, we grow together, learn together and celebrate every success!

Keeping in Touch

We believe that children thrive when home and school work together. We keep families informed through our regular school communications and encourage parents and carers to share in their child's learning journey.
