Pre-School and Reception

Where little learners blossom!

Blossom Class is the home of our youngest learners at Bosley St Mary's, bringing together our Pre-School and Reception children in a happy, nurturing and exciting Early Years environment.

Our bright, purpose-built classroom and dedicated outdoor learning area provide wonderful opportunities for children to play, explore, investigate and discover. With access to our beautiful school grounds and Forest School, there is always something new to experience!

Learning in Blossom

We believe that young children learn best through play, curiosity and first-hand experiences. Our Early Years curriculum is designed to inspire a love of learning, encouraging children to ask questions, develop their imaginations and grow in confidence.

Whether building, creating, sharing stories, exploring nature or discovering numbers and letters, our children are supported and challenged to take their next steps as learners.

Growing and Flourishing

We know how important those first experiences of school are. In Blossom, we place great emphasis on helping children feel safe, happy and valued.

We encourage independence, kindness, friendships and a willingness to try new things, celebrating every achievement along the way.

As part of our small school family, children have opportunities to build relationships across the school, helping them feel a real sense of belonging.

In Blossom Class, every child is encouraged to shine, grow and flourish!

Keeping in Touch

We value the close partnership between home and school. Families can share in their child's learning through Tapestry, our online learning journey, as well as through our regular school communications.
