This week’s reminders …

  • Tuesday – tomorrow the Juniors go to the Sikh Temple in Stoke, followed by a trip to Hanley Museum to look at their WW2 artefacts. Please send any remaining slips and money(£8 50) in tomorrow! Children need packed lunch and school uniform. Girls need a scarf to cover their heads.
  • Thursday Football tournament for Juniors 4 pm at Prestbury School Macclesfield – see Mr Barard for details.
  • Friday First Aid training given by Caroline Storer (Bobkins mum and qualified first aid trainer) for the school – ALSO non uniform day in aid of the Air Ambulance (£1 donation) and break time cake stall. So please get baking!!
  • Friday Afternoon - Tag Rugby V Wincle Friday 9th March at 1 30 pm
  • Friday Evening- Cheese and Wine tasting evening at school 8 pm. See Emma Carter for tickets. All welcome!
  • Saturday 10th March FAIR TRADE COFFEE MORNING AT CONGLETON TOWN HALL. You may remember last year many of you supported this event. Once again Bosley will be there some Y6 have already volunteered to be there representing our school. Drop in for coffee from 10 am until about 12 noon.

Clonter Opera – The Juniors have been given the letter to sing at the Clonter Opera at Congleton on Thursday 15th March. The children need to be taken to Clonter on the day for 5 pm for a rehearsal and the performances start at 6 pm until about 8 pm. We will be performing with other schools. We do hope all the children to be there to represent the school. Please send you slips back and ticket requests £5 each, to the office!

PTA Thank you to all who came to the very successful PTA Rose Queen Meeting last week. Will anyone who can beg, steal or borrow any sponsorship/raffle prizes please contact Emma Carter, Mrs Welch or the office. Let’s make it the best Rose Queen ever!! We are also combining it this year with a Fell Run!! So get training!

Our Rose Queen this year is Lois Oliver and the Rose King is Connor Macleod.

Bosley Church and Village Spring Dinner – on Saturday 24th March at 7 pm in Horton Village Hall, tickets £15 from Lorraine Brunt. All welcome.

Mothering Sunday This popular service will be held in school this year on Sunday 18th March at 10 am. Please come and bring your mums!

Parking outside school and on the Yellow Zig Zag Lines – please remember that it is illegal to park on the yellow zig zag lines. If the lay by is full please park in the Queens, the church or the Harrington – not outside the neighbouring cottages. Thank you.
